CV
The most important thing to remember when applying for a position is to be honest about your experience.
Do not lie on your cv as the truth always has a way of coming out.

What to have on your cv:
Personal Details: Name and Surname, Age, Date of Birth, Address ( you do not have to be specific as to house numbers – Location of residence would be safer), Contact Number and Email Address DO NOT put your identity document number in! (This can be issued to the employee once you have secured the position unless specifically asked for.) Education: |
|
A brief description as to which subjects you took at school and any Tertiary Education with the subjects and the field of study. Any additional courses or certificates obtained should be mentioned too.
Employment History:
Your current or latest vacancy should be first, followed by the last job you filled. You need to mention the time periods you worked at each position you filled. If you worked for a year, state you worked for year. Do not add or delete months that you never worked.

Achievements:
The best way to explain what type of person you are is to add the achievements you have obtained through and after school. If you were a cheer leader, this could mean you enjoy routing for the team. If you were a library prefect, this could mean you are excellent at keeping records. These achievements could also assist in securing the vacancy. |
References:
It would be advisable to add the references to your previous employers including their contact details. However if you current employer is not aware that you are applying for a new position then do NOT add their details.
Should you have reference letters and certificates then it would be a great idea to attach them to your application.
