Job Agencies
Part time work, full time work.........but where do you find such a thing?
Is it something you eat? Jobs are scarce and people take anything they can find. Why not go to your local job agencies and find out if they have anything that may suit your skills. In all fairness the only thing you have to lose is a couple of minutes and who knows you may just find your dream job. The most important thing is to always keep your faith and to never give up on yourself.
I Now Pronounce You... Employed!

Job agencies can be the best way to network your way into a new position. The best part about job agencies, are that they have more access to different variety of jobs than you are able to find across the internet. Some jobs get filled before they even get advertised on the internet. By having a job agency assist you, you have a better chance of being one of those candidates. You are allowed to register with more than one agency, but it is advisable to let the other agencies know about eachother.

Jobs Agencies
If you have sent your cv to a agency, and dont hear from them, keep calling until they can assist you. There is nothing wrong with being persistant as this shows them that you are passionate about finding work. But dont call them everyday, just every occassional week. Anyway if you want something bad enough, you should be willing to work for it. Remember to dress appropriately for the interview with the job agent, first impressions last so make sure you set up a tgood one. Also make sure that your cv is up to date and all your references are also up to date.

If the job agency tells you that there are changes to be made to the cv, dont take it personally as they are only trying to help and assist you. Make sure that you have a postive attitude when you meet up with the agent for a interview.
|
You need to sell yourself to them but also ensure that they can see you are confident and not afraid.
Show them that you are what they need and ensure that you let them know how the company will benefit by hiring you and that you would be a asset to the company that employs you. Let us know in our blog how your interviews went and maybe swop some advice with other candidates that are interested in using this site for advice. Good Luck with your interview and have faith in yourself. |
